Bhagat Singh Koshyari, projecting the ongoing Diabetic Retinopathy camps conducted throughout the nation along with the sportive assistance of the state president and IMA.     STOP BLINDNESS - JYOT SE JYOT JALAO              Today being the WORLD DIABETES DAY, the effectuating mission of AIOS now seeks the blessings of our honourable Governor of Maharashtra.  The Padma Shri awardee, Prof. Dr. Natarajan put forth his idea and structured method of training the underskilled layman with the guidance of  professionals, providing the basics of using the camera, clicking pictures of the retina and referring them to our doctors. This great step would definitely help us treating the 73 million people in need. Neglecting the preventive DIABETIC BLINDNESS at earlier detectable stages would lead to the loss of one's precious vision.               

Prof. Dr. Natarajan, the president of All India Ophthalmological Society(AIOS) proudly announces the great achievement of Dr. Venkatesh Prajna. Since ‪Nov 14th‬ is considered as the “World Diabetes Day”, AIOS has declared November month as “Diabetes & EYEcare” ,  I desire Diabetic Retinopathy camps to be conducted in the whole month of November, in every corner of  the Nation, so that maximum diabetic patients will be benefitted.
